Java Goes Green
Penn State continually seeks out ways to do its business in an environmentally-friendly and sustainable way. Java Catering is a part of that initiative. We also look for ways to "green" our services and strive to be successful environmental stewards and spread awareness to our customers.
Filtered Water ProgramSince 2008, Java Catering has used thermal containers to offer filtered ice water for its customers' events. When ordering the filtered water, customers are making a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice. The water stays colder longer which pleases guests and it avoids using plastic bottles for water.
